Kanpur: Meenakshi, the wife of the Manish Gupta city businessman, who died allegedly due to an injury to be maintained during a police attack at a hotel in Gorakhpur on September 27, has demanded an immediate arrest of the police accused of quoting dangers for families.
Meenakshi told reporters on Sunday that the police were accused of killing her husband, continuing to avoid the arrest of the police and therefore lived and his family members in danger.
He further said that the police killed her husband for no reason, therefore there was a strong reason for them to kill him and his family members.
He said, “It has been more than 60 hours since he was first registered, but the police accused of running away.” The whole family was the threat of fear because he did not act against the police, he said.
“They killed Manish for no reason, and now they have a reason to kill me and my family members.
I have filed a brilliant shot against them.
I fight for justice,” he added.
“We feel threatened.
The police accused of being arrested as soon as possible,” demanded Meenakshi’s family members.
Manish was killed after allegedly attacked by police at The Krishna Palace Hotel in Ramgarhtal Area Gorakhpur at night on September 27.
Inspector Ramgarhtal Police Inspector Jagat Narayan Singh, Police Post Phalmandi Post In-Charge Mishra (SI) Si Vijay Yadav, including six police officers, has been suspended.
A pine has also been registered against the police accused.
The State Government on Friday recommended the CBI investigation into the death of Gupta and recommendations for this effect had been made for the central government about the direction of the Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister, additional Secretary Secretary (home) which was said in a statement.
“Until the time when CBI took over investigation, a special investigation team (sitting) arranged for that purpose will investigate this problem, transferring the case to Kanpur from Gorakhpur,” said the statement.
The government has also ordered the appointment of Meenakshi as officers about the Special Task (OSD) in the Kanpur development authority.
The minister’s chairman has ordered an increase in financial assistance to families who grieve to Rs 40 Lakh and have met them on Thursday.
