New Delhi: BJP’s popular face and good orator, Meenakshi Lekhi has long articulated and advocated party policies and programs while taking his political opponents before he found a place in the ministerial council.
Lekhi was fifty-four-year-old, who took an oath as an Union State Minister on Wednesday in the second term as a member of Parliament from the prestigious New Delhi constituency, was at the forefront of the struggle on a number of problems related to those related to women and women environment against law and development.
Delhi University law graduates, he has taken various important issues such as the permanent commission for female officials in the armed forces as lawyers.
It was his disgust petition which forced the leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi to tender apologies in 2019, because it connects the ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ Jibe against the Prime Minister of the Supreme Court.
He was appointed as Vice President Mahila Morcha BJP in 2010.

As a parliamentary member, Lekhi is part of the design of the important bill committee, including female reservation bills and sexual harassment of women at work (prevention, prohibition and recovery).
He also served in different parliamentary panels, including the committee standing in external affairs, committees of privileges, and general goal committees.
He has served as Chair of the Public Business Committee and Joint Committee on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019.
His broad interest involved it in social work and literary and cultural activities.
