Chandigarh: Former Minister of Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh has rejected the claim made by one of the cabinet ministers that he will return to Congress and will soon meet with the party chairman Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
“This is an evil and naughty assumption that seems made with hidden motives,” Amarinder said.
He added that there were no questions about looking at him since he was busy forming his party and giving a touch of finishing to his organizational settings.
“We are waiting for our party registration – Congress Punjab Lok – by the Indian Election Commission and party symbol allotment,” he added.
Previously on that day, the Minister of Justice Social Affairs Raj Kumar Verka had made a statement in Amritsar that Amarinder could return to Congress soon.
The former head of the minister on November 2 submit his resignation from the party who stated that he was injured by Sonia’s behavior and his children – Rahul and Priyanka.
He also revealed the name of his new political party on the same day.
In the midst of political turmoil in Congress, captain Amarinder has submitted his resignation as Minister of Punjab Chairman of the Governor of Banwarilal Purohit on September 18, ahead of the meeting of the Congress legislative party which stated that he continued to be humiliated over the past two months by the party.
Meanwhile, MPs of Congress from Patiala’s wife and Amarinder Preneet Kaur met with Charanjit Minister Singh Channi on Sunday, along with several members of the city council from Patiala.
The council members claimed that they had met with the main minister to tell local Patiala’s problems.
