Jaipur: The Meteorology Department has issued a red and orange warning for heavy rain in several Rajasthan districts on Friday.
The active Southwest Monsun will get more intensity in the coming days due to very heavy rain (115 to 204mm) in the Saurur, Sikar and the ajmer district possibilities and red warnings have been spent for these places, the department said.
Heavy rain was also expected in Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Tonk, City, Bhilwara, Baran, Charur and Jhalant Regency where the department had issued an orange warning.
In the last 24 hours, heavy rainfall was recorded in Bari, Rajkheda and the Basera of the Dholpur district.
Bari (Dholpur) recorded 85 mm highlands followed at 70 mm in Kariauli, 40 mm in Bharatpur Tehsil and 30 mm in Caskasim from Alwar.
Jaipur recorded 3.3 mm during the period.
The red warning shows weight until heavy rain is more than 20 cm in 24 hours, while the orange warning means a very heavy rain from 6 cm to 20 cm.
