New Delhi: Delhi Poice on Thursday sealed a restaurant in Mehrauli for allegedly breaking DDMA guidelines.
It comes in the midst of increasing Covid cases in the city.
As part of a series of inspections made considering the latest DDMA command to ban a big trial, the team of the flying team goes for a surprise inspection at Diablo Restaurant in Mehrauli, said Herima Jivani Sonalika.
There were around 600 people at the restaurant around 10:45 a.m.
on Thursday.
The restaurant has organized events in violations of the common Covid protocol that is common, he said.
“Immediately, the crowd was dissolved by Tehsildar (Mehrauli) and the place was sealed in a place for severe violations of DDMA guidelines, especially after the new omicron variant appeared,” Jivani said.
Deputy additional Police Commissioner (South) M Harsha Vardhan said a Under Semuts 188 (disobedience to order properly announced by civil servants) and 269 (negligent actions tended to spread dangerous disease infections) from Diablo.

Given the increasing Coronavirus case, Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has directed district judges to ensure that no meeting to celebrate Christmas and New Year took place in the city.
Restaurants and bars will continue to operate up to 50 percent of seating capacity.
Meeting related meetings are permitted with a maximum of 200 people present.
