New Delhi: In a large setback to India, the Dominican High Court has provided guarantees for the Diamantaire Mehul Choksi, which allows him to travel to Antigua and Barbuda for the treatment of neurological conditions, local media there reported.
The High Court gave the approval order by the Choksi Law team and state lawyers, allowing it to go to Antigua, where he had lived as a citizen since 2018 after he left India, after depositing the East Caribbean dollar 10,000 (around Rs 2.75 lakh) as money Guarantees to seek medical attention from special neurologists, Antigua Breaking News reported.
The court has also lived in an ongoing court before a judge because the allegations of illegal entry to Dominica on May 23 to return, he said.

His lawyer has accused that he was kidnapped from Antigua and Barbuda in a complicated flow that hatched by people from Indians and a mysterious woman named Barbara Jabarica who had been friends with the last six months.
After Choksi news detained in Dominica emerged, India rushed the official team led by the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) exploring Sharda Raut to make every effort to bring Choksi back based on interpol red notifications against it.
The effort was unsuccessful because Choksi’s lawyer moved with unprecedented agility to submit a Corpus Habeas petition before the Dominica High Court received to hear.
