” Choksi, who’s wanted in India from the CBI and the ED in Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud situation had gone missing in the island country on May 23, igniting a gigantic manhunt.
He had been seized from Dominica on May 26.
Even a Dominican court has controlled his deportation until June two as it finds that a habeas corpus filed by Choksi’s attorneys.
On Saturday, many images of Choksi appeared online revealing a few bruise marks on his arms and swollen eyes.
Choksi was living in Antigua and Barbuda as January 4, 2018, weeks ahead of the CBI filed a case of fiscal fraud and his nephew, Nirav Modi, one of others.
Even the CBI and ED, that have filed separate cost sheets in the situation, are looking to find his extradition.
