Bengaluru: The controversial Mekedatu reservoir project is now facing other obstacles because environmental lovers and social organizations have opposed it.
Social Activists and leaders of Narmada Bachao Andolan Medha Patkar on Friday said he would lead agitation of the Mekedatu project, who imagined drinking water to Bengaluryun and the surrounding district, because it would produce soakers of 1,200 hectares of forest and the displacement of thousands of tribes.
