Melbourne: The second largest city in Australia will slide for five days since Thursday night due to the Covid-19 planting news clusters coming after officials announced on Wednesday that the largest city in Australia, Sydney, will remain in locking for five weeks.
Three-week locking from Sydney and the surrounding community in the state of New South Wales has ended on Friday.
But now it will last until the first 30 July.
The health authority was worried about how quickly the Delta variant spread in a vulnerable population of Australia where less than 13% of adults were fully vaccinated.
