Mumbai: ‘output’ Indian domestic player to play for interesting minor leagues in the US continues.
Apart from the former captain under 19-19 Captain Unmukt, Ex-Delhi Batsman Milind Kumar, 30, is the latest to retire from Indian cricket and register to play Philadelphians in the league.
According to the BCCI rules, a player must retire to play in the Foreign league.
“Yes, I have told BCCI from my decision to retire from cricket in India.
I enjoy playing for Delhi with great players like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma, and it’s time to continue,” said Milind Toi.
Milind plays for Delhi, Sikkim and Tripura in domestic cricket.
He also played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2019 and Delhi Daredevils (now known as Mother Delhi) at IPL 2013.
He began his career with Delhi and then became the team’s deputy captain.
In 2013, he scored an unbeaten goal from 85 balls, with Shikhar Dhawan scored a hundred, when Delhi beat England with six Wickets in a training match.
In 2017, he played for the President of the President XI against New Zealand.
After moving to Sikkim, Millind, who led the northeastern team, broke Shreyas Iyer’s record for the most part running in the Ranji Cup edition, when he slammed 1331 running in just eight matches with an average Bradmanesque 121.66), in a calculation that included six hundreds and four fifts in the league plate 2018/19 season Ranji.
