New Delhi: The ‘lucky’ green jacket from a 27-year-old explorer has placed him behind the bar for allegedly stealing and then selling stolen phones to passengers near the train station and bus terminal with the pretext of a fake story, the police said on Tuesday.
Accusing Farisz, a resident of Kucha Rehman, Baltaran, was previously involved in seven cases of grabbing, illness and weapons acting registered in various district police stations, they said.
He was released from prison in August 2021.
The defendant considered his favorite green jacket ‘lucky’ because he saved him from being arrested many times but it took behind this bar, police said.
The problem was revealed after two complaints took accepted at the North Delhi civilian police station, they said.
According to the police, the first complaint filed by an ambulance driver, alleged that on January 2, around 7:45 a.m., when he walked towards Bhairo Baba Mandir, and reaching a gas station in the civil lines, he got a call.

On the basis of CCTV footage, the police team came to the conclusion that the same person was involved in connection cases, which wore a green jacket and the two incidents occurred in the morning.
Therefore, the picture of the man wearing a green jacket captured on CCTV was circulated among staff and on a tip off, the snatcher was identified as a Faraz wearing the same green jacket.
He was arrested near Tikona Park, Mori’s gate with his vehicle used in the crime commission.
