Aurangabad: Someone attached to the State Health Department was detained on Monday for allegedly selling the Covid-19 vaccine dose illegally in the area of Sajapur Aurangabad Maharashtra, police said.
The man sold these doses in a room of around 20-25 kilometers from the Waluj Primary Health Center and he was held after a tip-off, said an official.
“We have confiscated a blank bottle of covishield vaccines and fresh and used syringes.
We have found a list of 10 people he gives dosage.
Our probe has found he will contact labor contractors in the industrial area here promising to get people vaccinated by a number of Rs 300 respectively, “Inspector Madhukar Sawant of MIDC Waluj Police Station told PTI.
The man had been detained and the process of registering ongoing cases, while the probe began to find out where he took this bottle, added Sawant.
