Men are held for theft

Thiruvananthapuram: Nemom Polda has arrested a 37-year-old man on charges of theft of rubber sheet from his residence.
The police identified the defendant as an anilkumar aka Venkidi Raju from Ayakkode near Pallichal.
The arrest is recorded on Sunday.
The police said that crime allegations were carried out during early Saturday.
The defendant allegedly entered the residence of Kumar Shijil complainant, located in Ward Estate near Pappanamcode, and stole rubber sheets spread on the floor of the terrace to dry.
The population felt his presence at home after they raised the alarm and told the neighbors.
The police were also warned.
The police arrested the defendant with the help of local residents.
The inspector of house officers Station Racesesh Kumar said that the defendant was a habit violator involved in the same case in the past too.
He was produced in front of the court and returned in the custody of the judiciary.
