Thiruvananthapuram: Police Nedumangad arrested a young man on charges of police attacks in the police station on Sunday.
The person arrested was identified as Akshay, 23, a resident of Lekshmi Vilas, Neda Housing Board, Nedumangad.
Cording to the police, Akshay was held by the police after they received a complaint that he obtained a commotion at Junction Kulavikonam on Saturday at around 6pm.
The police said when Akshay was taken to the station, he allegedly attacked the subhash asi which charged GD without any provocation.
When other police personnel tried to limit Akshay, he allegedly attacked others too.
He was indicted by parts related to attacks on government officials and blocking the disposal of public tasks.
