New Delhi: A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing a little girl with ax in Southwest Delhi to take revenge from his father who slapped him because he stalked, the police said on Tuesday.
The defendant has been identified as Pradeep aka Praveen, a Jhuggi resident in Shastri Park, the South Campus, they said.

Police Commissioner (Southwest) Pratap Singh was arrested from his sister’s house in Palwal, Haryana.
He followed the 16-year-old girl for several months and his father had slapped him because he wanted to take revenge and bought a ax from R Kuram last month for that purpose, police said.
He was allegedly attacked on Monday and suffered an injury near his eyebrows, after he died after being treated at Safdarjung Hospital, they said.
The case has been registered at the South Campus police station and section 307 (murder attempt) has been changed to 302 (murder) from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) after his death, police said, added that further investigation was ongoing.
