PALGHAR: A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing a tribal woman and threw away in the forest in Jawhar in Palghar, police said on Tuesday.
The probe began after a complaint was received that one Gulab Lakhan (40), a housewife, lost since Saturday, and her body was found in the bushes at Balantin Hillock on Sunday, an official said.
“The accusation, which was held on Monday, was a relative of the Lakhan and further investigation into a place to find out why he killed him,” he added.
