Rajkot: About 35 years old man was arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating his 16-year-old nephew in the city of Wankaner Morbi.
According to the police, the defendant had raped the girl several times in the past year.
The victim’s father filed a complaint of rape and various parts of the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso) acting with the Wankaner police station on Sunday.
The defendant and the girl belonged to Madhya Pradesh and worked as a laborer in the city of Wankaner.
The police said that the incident was revealed when the girl complained of abdominal pain last month.
He was taken to a government hospital where the doctor who took care of told the family that he was nine months pregnant.
The girl then gave birth to a girl.
When asked, the girl told her father about sexual violence by the defendant.
