New Delhi: A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sent a rude message and threatened to his friend’s husband in Northeast Delhi, police said on Friday.
The accusation was identified as Shahbaaz from Mustafabad, they said.
According to the police, Imran complainants approached them after him and his family members received rude messages, vulgar, threatening, and extortion from different international WhatsApp numbers.
Similar messages were also sent to the Fiancé sister, Imran told the police.
During the investigation of this case, the amount was carried out on the supervision and its tracked location.
They were all operated by the cellphone number and IP address of Aamir of Old Mustafabad, said a senior officer.
The police contacted Aamir and knew his brother Shahbaaz was behind him.
After that, the attack was carried out and Shahbaaz was arrested on Wednesday from Mustafabad.
The cellphone used in the crime was confiscated from his ownership, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) said Sanjay Kumar Sain.
During the interrogation, Shahbaaz said the wives of the complainant were friends and their plans to harass her husband and their families when they shared a tense relationship, according to officers.
The police also found a text message between Shahbaaz and the woman.
Efforts are being carried out to track it, police said.
