Men are held with Rasum Rice 3,650kg in Walay Post Check

Coimbatore: KG Police Chavadi arrested a 40-year-old man, who tried to smuggle the 3,650kg rice intended for the public distribution system to Kerala, in Walay, check the post here on Wednesday.
Official sources said police supervisors were commercial vehicles traveling to Kerala at the Wala Post examination.
During the search, they found 73 bags of rice.
Every bag has 50kg rice.
While the vehicle driver said the rice was not intended for the public distribution system, the police then confirmed that he smuggled rice rations, “said the source.
The police then arrested the driver, which was identified as G Martin, from Walakay Road in the Palakkad district, and seized vehicles with rice .
