Coimbatore: A 42-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for raping a little girl on several occasions in Tirupur City in 2019.
Cyber City Police of Tirupur said 42-year-old D Senthil Kumar, from Colathur in Chennai, has been friends with girls in Tirupur WeChat in 2014 and he used to make obscene video calls to him at his request.
“He used to record him.
In 2019, he met a little girl in Tirupur and raped him on several occasions,” said an investigative officer.
The girl, who is now a major, has been married to someone else a few months ago.
“Senthil Kumar contacted him recently, asked him to make obscene video calls.
When he refused, he threatened to upload the video he had recorded in the past on social media.” The woman’s sister filed a complaint with the Cyber City of Tirupur City on Monday morning.
They registered the first information report and captured Senthil Kumar on Tuesday.
“He was ordered under various parts of the children’s protection of the actions of sexual violations, information technology laws, the prohibition of Tamil Nadu’s harassment from the Female and Criminal Code of India, and nested in Tirupur Regency prison under the judiciary,” said the officer , TNN.
