Rajkot: A 30-year-old man was booked on Wednesday for allegedly raping a woman in the village of Moti Mahuva Taluka in the Bhavnagar district on Sunday night.
The 39-year-old survivor who worked as a farm laborer, filed a complaint after he regained a re-awareness of the hospital on Tuesday night.
The woman was in care at a government hospital in the city of Mahvua.
He accused Kishor Vala, a resident of Jesar Bhavnagar, introduced him on Sunday night when he attended a nature call in his open house.
According to the woman’s complaint, Vala realized her daily routine.
He had hid in the bushes when he came out to attend nature calls.
The defendant hugged him from behind forcibly took him to the nearest farm and allegedly raped him.
The woman fell unconscious on the farm and woke up in the morning the next day.
He has been in the hospital since then.
