Coimbatore: A guest worker is trapped between walls and ATMs while trying to steal money, at Aniyapuram in the Namakkal District of Tamil Nadu in early Thursday morning.
The police arrested the man, identified as M upendra Roy, 28, from the East Chamberan District in Bihar.
He worked at a poultry feed manufacturing company in Parali in the Namakkal district.
Around 12:15 a.m.
on Thursday, Upendra Roy, who was under the influence of alcohol, removed plywood sticking to the wall behind the ATM machine and managed back from the engine.
When he tried to open the machine with stones, residents heard a voice and told Mirrating.
The police found the man stuck between the walls and ATM machines.
He was saved and arrested.
Upendra Roy was produced before Judges Judicial on Thursday night and returned in custody of the judiciary.
He was submitted on the namakkal sub-prison.
