Mangaluru: A man was arrested for allegedly breaking old airport places in Bajpe in Mangaloru on Tuesday.
The person arrested was identified as Rakesh (40), a resident of Bedua Village, Murshidabad District in West Bengal.
Based on the complaint proposed by the Inspector Force Security Industrial Central (CISF) at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA), the police ordered a case against Rakesh.
Police Commissioner Hariram Shankar said the CISF man, who was in a routine patrol, found Rakesh Roaming inside an old airport, where the runway work took place around 11pm on Monday.
“Rakesh told the CISF men that he worked as a cleanser in a truck.
The truck driver allegedly left him near the airport without paying his salary.
According to him, he reached the airport after he was lost,” DCP said.
Based on complaints from CISF, the case below Section 448 IPC (trespassing) and section 3a (b) oppression violates the law against the safety of the 1982 Civil Aviation Law on the defendant, he added.
