Guwahati: A female student who pursued a computer application was pushed out of a small businessman’s house at Assam’s Biswanath Charali last week because she was allegedly wearing jeans, not Burkha.
The incident took place on October 25 when the girl went to the defendant’s house, Nurul Amin, to buy an earphones.
The problem was revealed on Sunday after he decided to openly share his experience.
On October 29, the girl has submitted a third against Amin, who runs the electronic goods business in rented accommodation, alleged that sexagenarians have thrown harassment to him because they did not wear Burkha and pushed him out of his house.
According to Fir, Son of Amin – Rafiqul Islam and Sahidul Islam has also struggled his father on October 28.
Biswanath Chariali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sanjib Roy said Amin and his two sons were picked up to be questioned.
They were released later.
“Nurul Amin also filed firmly against the woman, accused the benefits.
Both cases have been registered,” Roy added.
