Yavatmal: A 32-year-old man was arrested on Monday for allegedly attacking medical officials with axes in Yavatmal in Maharashtra because he did not allow him to jump over the queue of Covid-19 vaccination, police said.
The doctor was not involved in the incident that occurred in Vasant Nagar below the limit of the Digras police station, said an official said.
“Allegations, Manohar Rathod, came to the center and demanded him vaccinated in front of the queue, and made anger when the medical officer was responsible, Dr.
Santosh Jadhav told him to register first.
He attacked Jadhav with ax, but the last one stepped back and avoided injured, “said the official.
The defendant was arrested during the day based on complaints by Jadhav, he added.
