Coimbatore: A 50-year-old man, his wife and relatives were arrested for killing his brother in Selva Nagar near Vadavalli on Thursday night because he took the fight during his daughter’s wedding.
Police Vadavalli said Valasubramani aged 59 years, from Krk Nagar in Veergeralam, has gone to attend his younger brother’s wedding, Putri Krishnakumar at the wedding center in Selva Nagar on Wednesday night.
“He took a fight with family members and Krishnakumar, a Pudur PN resident, along with his wife Neelaveni, 45, and Relative N Jawahar Prakash, 27, from Vellalore, defeated him with wooden wood.
He suffered a severe head injury and was treated at Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital on Thursday morning.
He died at the same night without responding to treatment, “said a police officer.
While Vadavalli police registered a case below Section 174 (suspicious death) from the criminal procedure code, the postmortem report revealed that Balasubramani was beaten with several deadly weapons.
The police conducted an investigation with family members and arrested Krishnakumar, Neelaveni and Jawahar on Saturday to kill Balasubramanani.
The trio captured was produced in front of Judicial Judge, who sent it in the Heaving of Judge.
Balasubramani, said the officer, survived his wife who wasolated Jeevarathinam, 42, two daughters and a son.
“He was separated from his wife a year ago.
His children live together with Jeevarathinam.”
