Muzaffarnagar: A 24-year-old man allegedly beaten to death by 10 people when he was waiting in the bus holder in the city of Banat in the Shamli district on Friday, police said.
Sameer was on the bus holder when he fought with a group, but the reason was uncertain, said a senior police officer.
The case has been registered with 10 people, 8 of them mentioned in the report.
One of them was arrested, police supervisor of Sukirti Madhav Mishra.
The search for accused of escaping, said Mishra.
The victim’s body has been sent for postmortem.
According to complaints submitted by the Sameer family, the incident occurred when he was on his way home.
He rushed to the hospital in a serious condition where he was declared dead by the doctors.
