Letter: A man was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau Detective (ACB) from the police station compound compound to take RS 3,000 as a bribe on behalf of Lok Rakshak Dal (LRD) Jawan to release moped and cellphone confiscated.
According to source ACB, the previous complainant submitted an application in court who was looking for the release of moped confiscated and cellphone from the Puna Police Station.
The court has requested the opinion of the police station in this matter and so the complainants have gone to the police station to meet LRD Jerambhai Hardik Jawan.
LRD personnel instructed the complainant to bring lawyers.
Meanwhile, someone named Mativar aka Manoj Shreenarayan Tiwari met with a complainant and used the name of the LRD personnel looking for Rs 10,000 bribes to facilitate releases.
After negotiations, the agreement was resolved for RS 3,000.
However, the complainant approached ACB which put a trap and arrested him with shedding.
