Kanpur: A 50-year-old man committed suicide accusing the police on Friday by consuming several toxic substances at the Saand Police Station campus in Ghatampam Regency.
SP (outside) Ajit Kumar Sinha said the initial findings revealed that the man, who came to receive a copy of FIR in the police station had died after consuming several toxic substances.
“Asp Kanpur Outer will investigate this problem,” SP Outer said.
The police said that as soon as the man’s condition deteriorated, he was immediately accepted at Bhitargaon CHC and after he turned critically, he was referred to the Ursala Hospital where he died during treatment.
