Coimbatore: A 65-year-old man died after a truck hit the two-wheeled two wheels near Chettipalayam in Coimbatore District in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as P Mayilsamy, 65, from Golf Garden Road in Chettipalayam.
The accident occurred on Jalan Chettipalayam-MalumichamPatti.
A truck moved in the same direction hit the two wheels, killing Mayilsaamy in place.
Chettipalayam police registered the case below Section 304 (a) (causing death due to negligence) IPC.
The police, who received a truck registration number, began looking for drivers.
