Kanpur: The Uttar Pradesh volleyball association has announced teams of men and women to participate in the 70th National Senior Volleyball Championship which will be held in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) from February 7 to February 13.
With the names of teams, Sunil Kumar Tiwari, the Association Secretary said the team had been chosen after the training camp held in Varanasi.
The two team players are: Avanish Pandey, Ankit Tripathi (both Mirzapur), Harsh Malik, Mohit Rathi (Muzaffar Nagar), Vivek Rai, Vikas Chaubey (both Varanasi), Ambar Pandey, Abhimanyu Rai (both BLW), hit ( Ner), Jai Kiswan Rai, (Ghazipur), Rajneesh (Jalaun), Divyanshu Upadhyaya (Jhansi).
Chief Coach-Naveen Rai (Bhatandu Pandey (VNS), Manager-Pankaj Shukla (Prayagraj) and Trainer-Anand Rai (VNS).
Women-Linta Saboo, Siny, SUBBI, NEETU, Priyanka, Shruti (All SSB), Shashibala Shukla ( Gorakhpur), Nishi Singh, Ragini Mishra, Riya Singh (All Varanasi), Sandhya Yadav (Kanpur), Susan Maurya (Gorakhpur).
