Tirupur: A unknown man was found killed with a disabled face in a remote place here on Tuesday.
The police could not identify the man, because the face was completely burned.
According to a police officer, the body has several piercing injuries.
The officer said the passing people had found the body in Sozhipalayam near Velampalayam when trying to identify the cause of the stench in the area.
When alerted, the police recovered the body and sent him to a government hospital for postmortem.
The officer said the man must have been killed a few days ago.
