City (Rajasthan): Child protection from sexual violations (Pocso) The court has sentenced a 22-year-old man because he raped a son and sentenced him to a 20-year prison sentence, said the Public Prosecutor on Thursday.
In addition to the prison department, the court slapped the fine of RS 37,000 at the convict.
Ravinder Singh Rajput, a resident of Badgaun under the Kunhari police station area, was convicted for sodomizing the boy in his neighborhood two years ago, the Public Prosecutor at Pocso Court-4, told reporters.
Rajput lured the boy when he played outside his home on June 12, 2019, and took him to an isolated place where he raped him.
The child then told his father about the incident and he filed a complaint against Rajput at the Kunhari police station, Choudhary said.
Rajput was ordered based on part 377 of the Criminal Procedure Code and parts of the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso).
Pocso Court-4 Judge Mohammad Arif held a rajput guilty after hearing the testimony of at least 14 witnesses.
