Kanpur: Special Judge Pocso ACT Court Rajve Singh on Saturday Battery accused Jitendra Rajput, a resident of Malikpur Jahanabad in Fatehpur Regency, up to 8 years in a rigorous prison along with a fine of RS 25,000 to lure, kidnap and raped.
The court ordered Pay Rs 10,000 of the penalties to victims for rehabilitation.
According to ADGC Sushil Kumar Verma, the mother of the victim, a resident of Machariya at the Naubasta police station, accused in the FIR that Jitendra Rajput, his son’s friend, who used to visit his house, has lured and kidnapped his 16 years -Argay female on July 3, 2015.
According to ADGC, The victim in his statement was recorded below Section 164 CR PC stated that on July 2, 2015, he accompanied the defendant after being told that his brother had met an accident.
Then, he offered cold drinks and after consuming him he lost his common sense.
When he regained his senses, he found him in Jhansi where Jitendra repeatedly raped him.
ADGC said the court, based on evidence added by seven witnesses, produced by prosecution, accused of guilty.
In the quantum of punishment, the defendant begged that he had been in prison for the past 6 years, therefore, the court must take a soft view when dropping it.
He also pleaded that he did not commit a violation.
The court punished the defendant for eight years in a tight prison and observed that the term he had served in prison must be adjusted in the imprisonment.
