New Delhi: A 32-year-old man allegedly died of suicide after attacking his wife with a surgical knife at his mother’s house in the Khyala West Delhi area, police said on Sunday.
The injured woman who suffered a severe injury in the neck and face was operated and was still accepted at the Upadhyay Deen Dayal hospital, they said.
Constable Sudhir from Police Raghubir Nagar Chowki donated blood for him when his mother said the need, they said.
Ramkumar, the woman’s husband, escaped from home after attacking his wife, assuming he was dead, but then found hanging at home in Ghaziabad up.
The couple recently married and the defendant was suspected of being addicted to drugs, police said.
The incident took place on Thursday at the victim’s mother’s house where she lived after leaving her husband’s house in the Raghubir Nagar area.
According to the police, on Thursday the call was received at the Khyala police station from a hospital in Paschim Vihar told them that a woman was recognized with an injury caused by her husband.
The investigation revealed that the woman and her husband often fought and as a result he returned to his mother’s house on January 15, police said.
“On January 19, the husband came and asked his wife to accompany him to their wedding home at Naseeb Vihar near Loni in Gaziabad, but he refused.” He lives at home until the night of January 20 and continues to ask his wife before his mother, “said a senior police officer.” Around 19:30 a.m., when his mother went to the market leaving a partner alone at home, the man attacked his wife with a surgical knife and caused some severe injuries around the neck and ended the cheeks, “he said.

With the help of technical supervision and the witness testimony, the police found that Ramkumar had fled to his brother-in-law’s house , Babalal, in Ambedkar Colony in the Loni area, he said.
The police team took Babulal to the empty house for the attack, and found it sticking from inside.
When Babalal peered into the window, he found Ramkumar hanging from the ceiling, Goel said.
