Letter: Police arrested a 24-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday for allegedly deceiving people through debit card fraud.
The accusation offered assistance to the victims at the ATM booth and exchanged their original debit card with duplicate.
After some violations of debit card fraud were reported, the teams of the City Police Special Operations (SOG) save the watch and arrest the defendant from outside the ATM booth on Jalan Terenam.
Santosh allegations alias Roshan Yadav, are residents of Dindoli.
Yadav is used to keep an eye on people who face difficulties in withdrawing cash.
Yadav has delayed people in Pratapgarh from origin, too, police said.
Police restored 39 debit cards, RS 22,300 cash and cellphones from Yadav.
The police said that Yadav had 2.53 lakh Rs in his bank account.
“After stealing cash from the victim’s bank account, Yadav was used to deposit it in his bank account,” Police said, adding that Yadav had claimed involvement in five violations in the city.
