New Delhi: A 19-year-old man died after allegedly attacking the issue of payment of bills at a roadside restaurant in the Adarsh Northwest Delhi area, police said on Thursday.
According to the police, the deceased, dilip, used to work in restaurants.
They said he had a fight with an e-rickshaw driver who was heading after eating on Wednesday.
When the customer left, dilip asked him to pay the bill, which he said was that payment was done, they said.
However, the victim continued to ask for the bill, which led to the argument and several friends from the e-becak driver also joined, a senior police officer said.
In a commotion, diliped punched in the stomach, and he fell to the ground and died, the officer said.
The case was registered under Section 304 (punishment for guilty killings did not number murder) from IPC, and someone, identified as Rahul Lal Bagh, was arrested, police said.
Uncle diliped told the police that he was also not physically strong and had a very lean body structure.
