Hyderabad: A 26-year-old carpenter was killed during a fight with a friend on a cellphone at a workshop at Asif Nagar on Sunday.
The deceased, Jitender, is a native.
According to the Esif Nagar police, Jitender worked in a furniture workshop in Jirra from Asif Nagar.
A few days ago, Friends of Jitender Farooq came from above to meet him.
“Jitender lives in a workshop and his friend Farooq also lives with him,” said Esif Nagar Inspector N Ravinder.
On Sunday morning, the police received a complaint from the owner of the Muntazir workshop who accused that he found Jitender lying dead in the workshop and Farooq was injured.
During the probe preliminary, the police knew that Jitender and Farooq had an argument when Farooq asked Jitender to call him.
“Jitender refused to give his phone and as long as their arguments began attacking each other with tools in the workshop.
Jitender suffered a severe and bloody head injury to death.
Farooq also experienced a few injuries.
He was treated in Ogh and out of danger,” said the inspector .
