Men killed more than RS 2.5K in Gumla

Gumla: A 46-year-old man identified as Nabir Khan was killed by three friends for failing to return Rs 2,500 in Jamgain Village on Sunday night.
All three were accused of – Vimal Ekka, Gyan Ekka, both cousins, and Ashok Ekka – arrested.
The police said Khan borrowed Rs 2,500 from one of the defendants, Vimal, a few months ago.
On Sunday morning, he went to Khan’s house with Gyan and Ashok, all known to each other, to ask for the money.
But Khan looked for more time to return money.
At night, they called him to school Jamgain with the pretext of discussing some things and killing him after consuming liquor together.
Officers responsible for the Chainpur Police Station, Amit Choudhary, said, “The fourth of them consumed liquor inside the school building and slept there too.
Around 10pm, the insistence of Vimal, Gyam took a concrete stone and hit Khan when he fell asleep .
Ashok is a witness of the crime.
We know that the deceased has borrowed money from Vism and cannot return it.
“He further said,” Gyan told us that he did feel repentance because of his crime when the deceased did not return his cousin’s money.
” Vimal’s wife was a police officer posted in Ranchi, and once submitted a case against her husband, added Choudhary.
