Coimbatore: Cybercrime City Police have arrested a 39-year-old man for sending obscene pictures to a woman.
The police identified the defendant as B Karthikeyan, a resident of Kanakkampalayam near Udumalpet in the Tirupur district.
“Hired with a private company, he has the habit of making a call to a random cellphone number.
If the call is answered by a woman, he will send pornographic images on the WhatsApp,” said an officer.
When a 40-year-old woman from the city received obscene images from Karthikeyan, the officer said, he was very warned of him to the same thing.
“He, however, keep sending pornographic images to whatsapp numbers durable.
