Hyderabad: A man allegedly tried to slit the throat of a teenage girl as he walked on the road in Rajiv Nagar in the Suryapet district on Thursday.
The Suryapet police registered a case against the defendant, Bala Saidu, who was detained.
The condition of the 18-year-old girl, who suffered in her neck, stable and was undergoing hospital treatment in Miryalguda.
Ten days ago, the victim came to Suryapet to meet his parents.
The accusation was allegedly harassing him to love him and learn that his parents improve his marriage to another man.
Local residents arrested him and handed it to the police.
