Men were arrested for grabbing chains near Coimbatore

Chennai: Annur police in Coimbatore has arrested a 26-year-old man for grabbing the gold chain from a woman – a shopkeeper – recently.
The defendant was identified as Marisaran, 26.
He worked in a fish shop in the Aramadai.
He is married and has a four-year-old daughter.
The police source said Mariswaran went to a grocery store in Telungupalayam near Pillayappampalayam on September 8 with his two friends.
While his friends sat on a two-wheeled vehicle, he asked the shopkeeper of Parvathi to give him a cigarette.
When he gave him a cigarette, Mariswaran asked for another one.
When he turned to take it, the MariBand grabbed it with a weight of five sovereign.
He went up to the two wheels ready for him.
Trio advanced remotely.
The police traced Marisaran based on vehicle registration details obtained from CCTV camera.
He was returned in judicial custody.
