Men were arrested for killing shopkeepers

Udhagamandalam: A 66-year-old shopkeeper was killed after he was beaten with a brick by other shopkeepers during a verbal fight in the coonor on Sunday night.
The police identified the deceased such as Natarajan, 66, who run a vegetable shop in the mouth above coonor.
Natarajan has several disputes with Muthukukar, 65, who run a grocery store adjacent to the Natarajan store, displaying things in front of their shops, a police officer said.
“On Sunday night, when there was a fight like that, Muthukumar suddenly took the brick lying nearby and hit Natarajan,” the officer said.
Natarajan was taken to the coonor government hospital, where he was declared dead.
The coonoor police for capturing Muthukumar and registering cases.
