Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvallom police here on Friday arrested a desired man in connection with sexual abuse and impregnating his 12-year-old nephew.
The identity of the defendant was cut to protect the identity of the victim.
According to the police, the defendant was the husband of the girl’s aunt.
This case was registered by Pointhura police 15 days ago when his mother knew that the girl was pregnant.
It was revealed that the defendant, who came from the Koodamkulam in Tamil Nadu, exploited him when he briefly lived with them in their rented house near Thiruvallom.
Based on this, this case was transferred to the Thiruvallom police.
The girl also told the police accused of exploiting himself at the Koodamkulam when he lived with him during the holidays.
He was arrested from Tamil Nadu by the team led by Thiruvallom Station House Officer Inspector Suresh V Nair.
