Letter: Sleuth Branch Crime Catch a 40-year-old man from the diversion area on Thursday because stealing as many as 20 motorbikes.
The defendant just stole a motorcycle that had a combination of gray and black as he considered him lucky, police said.
The police recovered 18 grandeur and two CBZ motorbikes from the defendant.
The police arrested Subhash aka Subho Vivi, a native of Vadli Village in Nizar from the district but, near Sitanagar Cross Road.
The police have received specific information about the Valvi movement after that he was nabbed.
Then, he claimed to have stolen 20 motorbikes.
The police recovered a motorcycle worth Rs 3.90 lakh from the defendant.
“He stole a motorcycle from a hospital campus or a commercial complex parking.
He only targeted a motorcycle that was not locked,” said a police officer.
He stole a motorcycle from the Puna area, Varachha, Athwaline, Pandesara and it was so.
In the past Vivi was booked in 15 cases of separate vehicle theft.
Although, Vivi gets a livelihood by driving a mini truck itself, he began stealing a motorcycle in 2014 to make money quickly.
He told the police that he began stealing a motorcycle to pay his son’s tuition fee.
