Madurai: Madurai District Police on Tuesday arrested a 38-year-old man for killing security guards in Kalmedu on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Kannan, 45, Karcheri, Sakkimangalam.
Sahani police registered the case and arrested Vairamani aka Vairaprakash, 38, who from the same area, for the murder.
The defendant, who consumed liquor, attacked, and killed Kannan when he tried to stop him, according to the police.
