Men were arrested in the case of Pocso in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kadakkkavoor police here on Wednesday arrested a 27-year-old man under the provisions of ACT Pocso for allegedly abusing a little girl.
The police identified the defendant as Akhil aka Chanthu, 27, who came from Parird Ppal and currently lives in Ezippuram near Kadakkavoor.
Police said the defendant was arrested based on a statement of a 17 year old girl.
According to him, he met him through social media and lured him into a relationship and made him sexually.
The police were told after the girl family learned about the relationship.
The defendant was arrested by the Kadakkavoor Station Officer station Inspector V Rajesh.
(The identity of the victim has not been disclosed to protect his privacy in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court about cases related to sexual violence)
