Coimbatore: A 29-year-old man died at work at work in Chinniyampalayam in the city on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as D Chandrakumar, from Veerachipalalayam in Erode District, an engineer in a plastic manufacturing unit in Irugur Road.
“The heavy piece of engine fell on his head when he worked on Tuesday morning.
He rushed to a private hospital in NeeLambur, where he died,” said a police officer against Raman Unni Unit and Supervisors Udayayan and Biju Mohan.
