Muzaffarnagar: One person was killed and other injured in clashes between two groups after disagreement on firecrackers exploding in the Shamli district, police said on Thursday.
The groups clashed and pelted the rocks with each other in the Shiv colony from the district on Wednesday night, they said.
Two people, Sajakient Saini and Rahul, were sustainable injuries and had to shift to the hospital, where Saini was declared dead, the police said.
The body was sent for post-mortem investigations, they added.
