San Francisco: A man was killed and a woman was injured during the shooting incident in the city of Oakland California, a local police said.
The police on Saturday responded to the shooting report found a man and a woman who had been shot in the city of Maxwell, reported the Xinhua news agency.
The man was treated at the scene but was said to die, while the woman was taken to the hospital.
His condition was not disclosed, according to a report by San Francisco Chronicle on Saturday.
The name, age and other identifier information from the dead victims have not been released pending relatives notice, police said.
